*Early visit to the chiropractor with Alex. Her ear is showing improvement. She will go again in two weeks. He reminded me of the need to get her on probiotics. Not sure why I didn't think of that. Everytime I hear of people going on antibiotics I like to remind them to get their probiotics, but then when it's my child, I forgot! So, I stopped by the health food store on the way home and picked some up, along with some GF foods for Jess and some Kale and Spinach to try to increase our calcium while keeping the dairy down.
*Had a delightful lunch with friends. I have a group of gals that I get together with once a month for lunch for good food and wonderful fellowship. I am so glad I have them as friends.
*A run to the post office and then school. History is no longer "history" for me. :-) It's stuff I lived through and remember! We are in the 70's now. Almost done with the history book.
We are reading The Giver in school. The kids are always excited when we start a new book for literature. They enjoy our books so much. They are having a hard time with this book. The world in this book is so sad and somewhat disturbing. But, it's a good book and definitely good for discussion. As my friends and I discussed at lunch today, a good book is not always fun or easy to read.
*Speaking of fun and easy to read, Katie (Finally and Forever) arrived today! Woohoo! I am so glad because I really need Alex to read it so I can talk about it with her!
